Andres Sampedro, B.Sc.(Hon.), D.C.
Dr. Andres Sampedro is a 2001 graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic in Atlanta, GA. He has owned
and operated a successful chiropractic practice in Kentwood since 2002. An active leader in the community,
he is a member of the Wyoming – Kentwood Chamber of Commerce as well as numerous chiropractic organizations
including the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, the International Chiropractors Association, and the
International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Practicing family wellness chiropractic has been Dr. Andres'
passion which is evident by the numerous infant’s and children that can be seen at the office on a daily basis.
Being bilingual (Spanish) has also provided Dr. Andres with the ability to reach the large Hispanic Community
in the Grand Rapids area. Techniques include Thompson drop, Diversified, Activator, Sacral Occipital Technique,
Toggle Recoil, Cox Technique (Flexion-Distraction), as well as Pregnancy and Pediatric Adjusting. Certifications
include Cox Technique and the Webster Technique (for pregnancy). He was recognized by the Consumer Research Council
of America as one of America's Top Chiropractors in 2004. Additional services provided by Dr. Andres and his
staff include nutrition, exercise and massage therapy.
When Dr. Andres is not at the office he enjoys spending his time with his beautiful wife Erin who is expecting
their first child. They live in Caledonia and love to travel, kayak, hike and swim. Other passions include photography,
fossil and insect collecting as well as rock hunting. Dr. Andres is an avid runner who is a huge boxing, hockey and soccer fan.
Maurice Sampedro, D.C.
Dr. Maurice has been with us since May of 2005 and is the sharp well humored doctor performing adjustments
in the office. Dr. Maurice is from Toronto, Canada. He graduated the University of Toronto and obtained his
Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Maurice lives with his wife, Simone in Caledonia.
Erin Whiteford, Certified Massage Therapist
Erin and her husband Dr. Andres started Natural Choice Chiropractic in July of 2002. Erin is the unique,
affectionate heart of the office that makes every member of the clinic feel at home. Erin is from Napoleon,
and attended Michigan State University. Outside of the office, Erin and her husband Dr. Andres live in
Caledonia, and enjoy traveling, kayaking and hiking.
Chad Akers, Certified Massage Therapist
Chad Akers has been with us since the beginning. He is the outgoing and friendly face you see when
you come in for a massage. He specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Therapy, Orthopedic Massage,
and Relaxation. He is married to Sabina and lives in Kentwood with their dog Jersey.
Ellen Saxton, Certified Massage Therapist & Chiropractic Assistant
Ellen Saxton has been a part of our office since December of 2005 and is the smiling face you see when you come
into the office. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Relaxation.
Currently she lives in Grandville & enjoys tennis and spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer Boodt, Certified Massage Therapist
Jennifer has been with us since October of 2005 and is the welcoming individual you see when
you come in for a massage. Jennifer specializes in relaxation, deep tissue, reflexology, accupressure,
and cranio sacral therapy. Outside of the office, Jennifer lives in Kentwood with her fiance
and two children.
Yago Williams, Certified Massage Therapist
Yago has been doing chair massage with us for several years and began doing table massage in 2006. He specializes in Deep Tissue Massage with
extra focus on the back and neck. He lives in Rockford with his wife Melissa and his son Atlas.
Jaclyn Wisette, Certified Massage Therapist
Jackie has been working with us since July of 2006 and will always welcome you with a smile. She works deep along the spine and into the shoulders. She also specializes in extremity
work. Outside of work she enjoys relaxing at her home in Standale with her dogs and her boyfriend, Bret.
Nikki Weitting, Financial Coordinator
Nikki has been with us since January of 2005 and is the bright smiling face you see at the front desk
in the morning and early afternoon. Nikki performs all financial duties in the office including
insurance verification, billing, and more. Outside of the office, Nikki lives in Clarksville
with her husband and two little boys.
Tammy Dorr, Chiropractic Assistant
Tammy has been with us since March of 2003 and has the welcoming personality you notice when
you arrive at the office mid-morning or afternoon on Wednesdays. Tammy performs all front
office duties and properly files all insurance paperwork. Outside of the office, Tammy lives
in Caledonia with her husband and son.
Pam Lemons, Chiropractic Assistant
Pam has been with us since June of 2007. She lives in Wyoming with her husband
Alan and her 18 year old son, Corey. Pam performs x-rays, re-exams and handles
most of the front desk duties. She brings a lot of chiropractic experience to the
NCC team. Outside of the office, Pam loves animals especially dogs but most of all
she enjoys bowling and reading.
Neribel Alexander, Chiropractic Assistant
Neribel has been with us since June of 2007. She performs all front office duties
including answering phone and/or handling patients. Neribel is attending GRCC to
become a registered nurse. Outside of the office Neribel likes to spend time with
family and friends.
Aida Hamzagic, Chiropractic Assistant
Aida has been with us since December of 2006. She has the welcoming personality you
notice when arrive to NCC. Aida handles most of the front desk duties including answering
phones. Aida plans to become a Pediatrician and FBI Agent once she graduates from East
Kentwood High School. Outside the office Aida likes swimming, bowling, babysitting and shopping.
Simone Sampedro, Chiropractic Assistant
Simone and her husband Dr. Maurice joined Natural Choice Chiropractic in May of 2005. Simone
has a wonderful outgoing personality and performs all front office duties. Simone is from
Toronto, Canada. Outside of the office, Simone and her husband Dr. Maurice live in Caledonia
and enjoy traveling.
